Optimistic Crohnie

Trials & Tribulations in Treating Crohn's Naturally

9. I Would Die in the Apocalypse

I wouldn't die from the zombies or from the alt-right neo-nazis, I would die slowly as my body attacked itself.

8. :/

I still believe it is possible to treat Crohn's naturally. And it bothers me that doctors appear so matter of fact, when in reality we know so little about this disease!

7. Check-In

I so badly want to prove to everyone that this diet I've been preaching about really is working and will work!

6. Heavy Turbulence

I can feel the hard and lumpy mess that is my system right now, and I know there is damage being done.

5. Acupuncturist of my dreams!

She brought back the hope that I had almost lost in regards to acupuncture/Chinese medicine.

4. Food is (my) Life

Recipes. Groceries. Food prep. Cooking. Eating. Repeat.

3. Hiccups

This detour in healthy living felt like a reminder that I am still and will always be ill.

2. The plan

Making the decision to stop western treatments was relatively easy in the sense that it requires basically nothing of me. The hard part is now coming up with a plan to replace my previous treatment.

1. Taking the plunge

I am ready to say goodbye to the complicated relationship I have with Remicade. I am ready to take the plunge into these unknown waters.
